Design Philosophy
Lobby: We designed the lobby as a welcoming entry that reflects the residence’s character and Adabor location. The space makes a strong first impression with thoughtful materials and spatial layout. It serves practical functions, including visitor reception, shoe storage, and initial orientation within the home’s interior. The lobby is the key transition zone, setting the tone for the residential experience.
Living Room: The living room is the home’s primary social space for family relaxation and guest entertaining. We created versatile environments using well-arranged furniture and balanced aesthetic treatments. The design combines everyday functionality with a presentable look for hosting. Strategic lighting and decorative elements create a welcoming atmosphere for television viewing and conversation. The space maintains a refined character for visitors and family occasions.
Dining Room: The dining area receives exceptional design attention and extensive views. This space is central for family gatherings and entertaining. We created environments that enhance meals and encourage family togetherness. This is achieved through the selection of furniture, atmospheric lighting, and spatial planning that facilitate conversation. The layered ceiling design adds architectural interest and defines the zone. It elevates meals beyond functional requirements. This emphasis reflects the family’s commitment to shared meals at home.
Family Living: The family living room offers a relaxed gathering space, separate from formal areas. It creates comfortable settings for watching television, engaging in conversation, and enjoying daily family activities. We designed this space with practical furnishings and durable materials. The layout features flexible seating that accommodates various family activities, from morning routines to evening entertainment. Visual connections to adjacent areas foster household interaction and supervision.
Master Bedroom: The master bedroom is Mrs. Jafrin’s private sanctuary, featuring a verandah with access. This extends her living space outdoors. Sophisticated environments balance comfort with dressing and retreat functions. We used premium materials and refined aesthetics. The ceiling design has subtle details and layered lighting, creating a restful yet sophisticated atmosphere. The ample space highlights the importance of this room as a personal zone for various private activities.
Master Bedroom’s Balcony: The private balcony extends the master bedroom, offering valuable outdoor access. It offers fresh air, natural light, and a place for outdoor relaxation. We designed this semi-private zone for activities such as morning coffee or evening contemplation. Appropriate flooring, privacy screens, and potential greenery create a transition from interior to exterior. The verandah is a luxury that enhances the quality of life and offers a peaceful retreat for wellness and stress relief.
Child Bedroom: The children’s bedroom features a sleeping, study, and play area, along with a dedicated verandah. We balanced educational needs and personal expression. Study spaces, storage, and comfortable bedding all contribute to creating a functional environment. The verandah brings in natural light and allows for outdoor play or relaxation, supporting childhood development and fostering a connection to nature.
Child Bedroom’s Veranda: The children’s private verandah provides safe outdoor access and promotes connection to nature. We used durable, easy-clean materials and added appropriate safety features. This allows children to enjoy outdoor time while assuring parents of their safety.
Parents’ Bedroom: We created a bedroom to accommodate parents with careful spatial planning. The design balances sleeping comfort with privacy and personal needs. It supports multi-generational living, suggesting elderly parents or extended family also reside here. Including dedicated quarters highlights the family’s cultural values and commitment to caring for older generations at home.
Guest Bedroom: The guest bedroom is for comfortable short stays by family and friends. It remains functional when not in use. We designed a welcoming atmosphere to reflect Mrs. Jafrin’s hospitality. Storage, comfortable bedding, and aesthetics make guests feel valued. The room can also serve as a home office or hobby area when it is unoccupied, ensuring flexible space utilization.
Kitchen: We designed the kitchen for efficient family meal preparation. The layout features modern appliances, ample counter space, and well-organized storage. Efficient work triangles facilitate cooking in a functional setting. Strategic lighting enhances visibility for food preparation, while natural light makes the work area more pleasant. The design supports the family’s nutritional needs and the dining area’s focus on shared meals and entertaining.
