Flair M&E PTE Ltd.’s new headquarters on Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue required a dynamic workspace that showcases their engineering prowess while meeting varied operational demands. The challenge was transforming a commercial property into a refined environment that fluidly merges client-facing zones with technical areas, ensuring a polished image and seamless efficiency for this mechanical and electrical engineering firm.

Design Philosophy

Entry & Waiting Zone: The entrance establishes instant credibility with precise lines and industrial materials subtly echoing the client’s engineering heritage. The waiting area was designed as a flexible space accommodating both scheduled appointments and spontaneous consultations, with adaptable seating for groups of all sizes.

Integrated Work Station with Waiting Zone: This hybrid zone addresses space constraints through innovation. The workstations ensure productivity, while integrated waiting areas support spontaneous client engagement, creating a transparent and professional setting that highlights the team’s involvement in projects.

Workplace: The core zones support technical workflows, featuring durable surfaces for plan review and equipment specification. We incorporated plentiful natural light and ergonomic solutions essential for complex engineering tasks, while preserving visual connectivity between departments.

Meeting Room: The room, designed as the project’s negotiation center, blends formality and approachability. Advanced presentation systems and acoustic separation support internal strategy and client meetings, with finishes that reinforce technical skill.

MD Room: The executive office communicates authority through refined materials and strategic placement, offering operational oversight and ensuring privacy for executive decision-making.

Pantry: We designed a revitalizing break space that encourages informal teamwork, featuring modern amenities and comfortable seating to support both short breaks and extended discussions, which are vital for sustaining morale in high-pressure engineering settings.
