Mr. Anowar Hossain’s residence at ECB Chatwar features a spacious apartment with two master bedrooms, one of which has a balcony. This layout supports multi-generational living or generous guest accommodations, featuring large social spaces, a sizable dining area, and a clear separation between entertaining zones and private suites.
Design Philosophy
The intent was to design the apartment lobby as a welcoming transition, guiding visitors from the public corridor into the private living space while expressing the apartment’s refined character. We focused on ensuring the lobby serves as a clear entry point leading naturally toward the main social areas, through intentional material selection and spatial definition.
From the lobby, one enters the living room—the primary social hub—where versatile furniture arrangements support both family relaxation and guest entertaining. This central space provides direct access to other key zones, balancing family needs with an elegant presentation suitable for central Dhaka.
The dining area is prioritized for entertaining and family gatherings. Its generous views and adaptable layout support both intimate and extended meals while staying conveniently connected to the kitchen.
Private spaces branch off from the main social areas. The first master bedroom is situated at the end of a discreet corridor, creating a private retreat that maximizes space for sleeping, dressing, and relaxing—balancing comfort, functionality, and privacy from household activity.
The first master ensuite delivers private hygiene facilities with an efficient layout, upholding contemporary standards of comfort and privacy.
The second master bedroom, with balcony access, provides an independent retreat for multi-generational living or premium guest stays. The balcony provides outdoor access and natural light, offering semi-private relaxation.
The private balcony extends the second master bedroom, offering fresh air, privacy, and added luxury.
The second master ensuite matches the first by delivering private hygiene facilities, a practical layout, and comfort.
